Zero-downtime migration across 72 Azure subscriptions

Challenge

A tenant migration spanning 72 production Azure subscriptions serving a global developer platform — with a hard requirement of zero customer impact. Any downtime would make headlines.

Approach

We built SLA-based guardrails and verification gates into every migration step, automated the runbook with PowerShell and Azure DevOps, and used KQL-driven live telemetry to validate each wave before proceeding. Every step had a tested rollback.

Result

All 72 subscriptions migrated with zero downtime and zero customer-impacting incidents. The verification framework became the standard for subsequent platform migrations.

Challenge

A 24/7 live-site operation for a platform used by millions of developers, with strict incident SLAs and a 13-engineer team that needed structure, tooling and a culture of prevention — not just firefighting.

Approach

We established the on-call strategy, built monitoring and alerting as code, introduced auto-mitigation for recurring failure modes, and turned every incident into a shipped platform improvement.

Result

Over 2,000 incidents handled at roughly 2.6 minutes average time-to-acknowledge, alongside 1,500+ permanent platform improvements — shrinking the incident queue instead of just servicing it.

GenAI platform on GPU-backed AKS with cost control built in

Challenge

An enterprise needed to move GenAI workloads from prototypes to production: GPU orchestration, model serving, RAG and AI agents with MCP access to internal tooling — without runaway GPU and token costs.

Approach

We extended the landing zone with GPU-backed AKS node pools and KEDA scale-to-zero, built MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for serving, RAG and evaluation, and exposed platform tooling to agents through governed MCP servers with non-human identity controls.

Result

Production GenAI and agentic workloads with full audit trails, evaluation gates on every model change, and FinOps controls that eliminated idle GPU burn and capped token spend per workload.

Self-service infrastructure from a standardized IaC module library

Challenge

Enterprise infrastructure was provisioned manually from inconsistent templates across programs. Every environment was different, audits were painful and senior engineers were the bottleneck.

Approach

We consolidated infrastructure into reusable, versioned Terraform and Bicep modules with CI validation, then built self-service provisioning workflows with review/approval gates, policy-as-code and secrets management via Key Vault.

Result

Environment delivery went from weeks of manual work to self-service hours, with every change PR-validated, policy-checked and auditable — freeing senior engineers for platform work instead of ticket queues.
